Lead Commerce Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Commerce Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise eCommerce solutions. This role will lead the technical development of online commerce platforms, work closely with business stakeholders, and guide developers in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

  • This role will need you to build a custom Self-Self Application based on Bootstrap.
  • You d need to design the UX & System process, have the pages UI match branding standards, and integrate with existing applications for authentication and Service Ticket generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of eCommerce applications.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, and project teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems, APIs, payment gateways, ERP systems, and CRM platforms.
  • Perform code reviews and enforce development best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
  • Support production deployments and ongoing application maintenance.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the development team.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and project estimations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce or web application development.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical lead or senior developer role.
  • Strong experience with Java, .NET, JavaScript, or similar development technologies.
  • Experience with commerce platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, Magento, or BigCommerce.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services.
  • Strong understanding of database design and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
