We're seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Foreman to lead field teams on large-scale projects across the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This individual will oversee daily operations, coordinate with project management, and ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are consistently met.

Description

The Drywall Foreman will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supervising crews of journeymen, carpenters and field personnel on commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinating daily drywall, framing and interiors activities to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  • Working closely with Superintendents, Senior Foremen and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitoring safety, productivity and workmanship across all assigned field operations.
  • Reviewing project drawings, specifications and field documentation to support execution.
  • Utilizing Procore and Bluebeam to manage project communication, documentation and workflow.
  • Scheduling labor resources, assign tasks and providing leadership to field teams.
  • Supporting project planning, material coordination and issue resolution throughout construction.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, trade partners and project stakeholders.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with company standards.

Profile

A successful Drywall Foreman should have:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman within commercial construction environments.
  • Strong drywall and framing experience with the ability to lead field crews independently.
  • Commercial construction background required
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and coordinating site operations.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
  • Experience working alongside project management and site leadership teams.
  • Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to jobsite safety, quality workmanship and project success.
  • Ability to work across project locations throughout DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland.
