We are seeking a Lead Community Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide ongoing, evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy through regularly scheduled sessions, focusing on symptom reduction, emotional wellness, skill development, and progress toward individualized treatment goals. Services are delivered using a client-centered approach grounded in CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. This position includes providing home-based and community-based therapy as part of a program designed to expand access to behavioral health services by delivering care directly in clients’ natural environments. In addition, you will provide clinical support and oversight to a small team of Family Mentors and a Support Clinician, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support coordinated, effective care and sustained client progress. Position Overview As a Lead Community Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual and family therapy services to children, adolescents, and families experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. You will collaborate with caregivers, natural supports, and community providers to deliver coordinated, strength-based care while helping guide a small clinical support team. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and families. Utilize evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. Conduct assessmen ts, dev elop treatment plans, and monitor client progress. Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed. Collaborate with caregivers, natural supports , scho ols, and in terdisciplinary team members. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation. Support and collaborate with Family Mentors and Support Clinicians to ensure coordinated care. Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work , Cou nseling, Psychology, or related field. Meet one of the following clinical requirements: One year of supervised clinical experience under a QMHP; or Completion of 1,000 practicum hours; or Completion of a supervised clinical internship. Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience providing community-based services is preferred. A valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation to travel to client locations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, in English and Spanish. Schedule Requirements Availability is required for fo u r w e e kdays an d o ne week end day each week. Work hours generally f all betwe en 12:00 PM–8: 00 PM on weekda ys a nd 10:00 AM–6:00 PM on weekends, based on client needs. Compensation & Work Structure This position includes a combination of direct and indirect client care responsibilities and may be offered as either a salaried or hourly role, based on candidate qualifications, availability, and organizational needs. This role includes both direct and indirect client care responsibilities. The schedule and caseload will vary based on client needs, employee availability, and program requirements. Direct client care includes providing individual and family therapy services in clients' homes or via telehealth, as well as collaborating with caregivers, natural supports, and interdisciplinary team members. Indirect client care includes documentation, travel between client locations, care coordination, clinical supervision, and required training and professional development activities. For salaried employees, annual compensation ranges from $60,000 to $65,000. For hourly employees, direct client care services are compensated at $40.00–$50.00 per hour, while indirect client care and administrative activities are compensated at $17.05 per hour. Compensation for hourly employees is based on actual hours worked. Placement within the posted compensation ranges is determined based on experience, licensure status, credentials, and overall qualifications. Mileage is paid at the IRS recommended rate.
