As a Lead Concrete Foreman you will contribute to job sites across Northern California, Southern California, the Southwest US, and Pacific Northwest US. This travel-based position requires nearly all work to occur on the road with job durations ranging from 1 to 3 weeks. You will be part of a cross-functional team of 4 to 6 members handling all trades required to complete the work. The team will remain consistent throughout the job and from job to job, allowing for team cohesion and improvement.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of concrete workers, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity.
Plan and coordinate concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes for construction projects.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, blueprints, and safety protocols.
Inspect work for quality control, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to meet deadlines and budgets.
Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.
Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections to mitigate hazards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar role in construction.
Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Leadership skills with experience managing teams on-site.
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in construction.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Physical stamina to work in demanding outdoor environments.
