Position Reports: Lead Crawl Space Supervisor Positions Supervised: Field Technicians (Helpers) Purpose: To ensure that all services provided by Colorado Crawl Space LLC are conducted professionally, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Job Summary:The Lead Crawl Space Supervisor provides thorough diagnostics and repair solutions for crawl space issues, including waterproofing, moisture intrusion mitigation, and drainage problems. This role involves overseeing field technicians, managing resources efficiently, ensuring safety in confined spaces, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Pay: $57,500 annually Position Duties: 1. Provide Excellent Customer Service: Ensure all interactions with customers are professional and courteous. 2. Employee Safety: Ensure proper safety practices to protect employees from slip, trip, and fall hazards, and ensure compliance with OSHA safety guidelines for confined spaces. 3. Water Damage Restoration and Moisture Intrusion Mitigation: Be proficient in identifying, mitigating, and repairing water damage and moisture issues. 4. Crawl Space Waterproofing: Implement and oversee waterproofing techniques to ensure dry and protected crawl spaces. 5. Crawl Space Repair Design: Assist in designing and implementing effective crawl space repair solutions. 6. Chemical and Equipment Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the chemicals and equipment used daily. 7. Confined Space Work: Ability to work and clean up in tight crawl spaces, remove and install insulation, and handle confined space safety. 8. Insulation Installation: Install various types of insulation, including rigid foam, radiant barrier, fiberglass (blow-in, batt), and ground vapor barri 9. Mold Remediation Supervision: Supervise and perform mold remediation jobs in crawl spaces using various methods 10. Air Sealing: Perform air sealing tasks to improve energy efficiency. 11. Humidity Control: Manage and mitigate humidity levels in crawl spaces. 12. Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the assigned company van clean, and fully stocked, and maintain the truck maintenance log. 13. Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in all job-related tasks. 14. Efficient Resource Use: Manage time, crews, supplies, and equipment efficiently on job sites. 15. Task Delegation: Delegate tasks effectively to ensure productivity and timely job completion. 16. Waste Reduction: Use chemicals and supplies efficiently to avoid waste. 17. Hands-On Assistance: Assist on jobs when necessary. 18. Drainage Diagnostics and Cleaning: Diagnose drainage issues and clean drain and sewer lines with appropriate equipment.Performance Measurements: 1. Communication and Relations: Maintain effective communication and relationships with managers, technicians, insurance companies, and other responsible parties. 2. Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain a strong attendance record and consistently show up to meetings on time. 3. Maintenance Logs: Ensure truck mount maintenance logs are filled out daily and weekly. 4. Emergency Response: Respond quickly to emergencies and after-hours work. 5. Meeting Participation: Participate in company meetings and provide constructive feedback. 6. Leadership and Decision-Making: Exhibit strong leadership qualities and decision-making abilities. 7. Data Compilation: Compile data on flood jobs, fires, and cleanings and provide it to the appropriate individuals. 8. After-Hours Communication: Answer after-hours phone calls professionally and promptly and turn over necessary information to Dispatch. 9. Training Willingness: Train field technicians to develop additional Lead Technician Qualifications: Education: - High school graduate or equivalent required. Required Experience: - Two to three years of previous experience in Crawl Space Encapsulation, water damage restoration, and mold remediation. Skills/Abilities: - Time Management- Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Strong verbal and written communication - Ability to lift 50 lbs - Multi-taskin - Detail-oriented - Leadership skills - Knowledge of plumbing field concepts, practices, procedures, tools, and equipment - Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
