Job Description:

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Lead CT Radiologic Technologist* who will function in a lead capacity and produce CTs and/or radiographs during specialized procedures for the diagnosis of neurological, cardiologic, vascular disorders, joint, lung, venous, throat, breast, arterial, and/or spinal disorders.

Future Wage Increase:

Effective February 21, 2026, the County shall provide all classifications in the Teamsters MOU with a three percent (3%) across the board salary increase.

About Arrowhead Regional Medical Center:

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empires newest medical school.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.
  • On-call Schedule: Incumbents scheduled to be on-call must be able to arrive to the hospital within 1 hour after receiving a call. Incumbents must indicate a willingness to accept and be able to arrive within 1 hour for assignments. Please refer to the MOU (Download PDF reader) for additional details and compensation (Page 117).
  • Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.
  • Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Certification: Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health.
  • Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Venipuncture Certification for contrast media.
  • Registration: Must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of recent experience within the past five (5) years as a Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist/ CT Technologist, which includes (1) one year in an acute care setting and (2) two years in a hospital or ambulatory setting.
  • Desired Qualifications: One (1) year of experience as a lead technologist or supervising technologist is highly desirable.
