Lead Custodian - Birdville Independent School District

Pay Rate: Pay rate depends on experience

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm M-F

The Head Custodian is responsible for duties including:

Supervising and coordinating custodial operations at the assigned campus.

Maintaining the cleanliness and proper condition of the building and grounds.

Working with campus administration on safety and security concerns.

Participating in building safety inspections/walk-throughs and addressing identified issues.

Meeting with campus administration regularly regarding campus safety and security.

Monitoring custodial employees and ensuring they follow district procedures.

Managing custodial keys, custodial employees to place their campus keys in the Head Custodian lock box at the end of their shifts.

Helping ensure custodial staff follow district safety procedures and required training.

Reporting maintenance, safety, security, and other facility concerns.

Campus walks, and safety/security issues.
