PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As working supervisor establish routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building and grounds operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Special knowledge/Skills:

Ability to direct, read, write, and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Good oral communication skills

Complete knowledge in techniques for minor building repairs

Complete knowledge in building and grounds maintenance

Ability to operate, maintain, and lift all cleaning equipment

Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies

Ability to supervise and train custodians in equipment operations, building and grounds maintenance procedures

Minimum Experience:

3 years experience in building and grounds maintenance or equivalent

Pay Family: 004

Pay Grade: 03

Calendar: 250

Salary: $12.41 minimum hourly rate
