Lead Cytologist - WCMC Pathology/Laboratory - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description:

The Lead Cytologist is a member of the Pathology staff with demonstrated expertise in Cytology, who acts as a resource for employees in Cytology. The Lead Cytologist resolves problems with specimens and personnel as needed. They prepare specimens and screen slides for abnormalities for referral to the pathologist.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Science - Required or

• Bachelor's Degree - Required

Experience:

• 3 years Laboratory - Cytotechnologist - Required

Certifications/Licensures:

• Cytotechnologist - CT (ASCP) American Society of Clinical Pathology Certification - Required

Work Shift:

08.0 - 06:00 - 14:30 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$75.28 - $101.62

Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
