Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong background in PowerBuilder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on building and enhancing platform and product solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of PowerBuilder and its applications in developing robust software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using PowerBuilder.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to PowerBuilder and software development.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in PowerBuilder (deal breaker skill).
Proficient in SQL and database management.
Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Solid understanding of application architecture and design patterns.
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, .NET).
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PowerBuilder.
Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time and within budget.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
