Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Data Engineer/Manager to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise data warehouse and ETL solutions. This role will serve as the technical lead for a small hybrid team, partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong Microsoft data platform expertise with experience in SQL Server, SSIS, data warehousing, database architecture, and modern Azure/Fabric data technologies; and the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience with the following:

• SQL Server development and administration;

• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) & SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS);

• Enterprise Data Warehousing;

• Data architecture and database design;

• Fact and dimension modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas);

• Business requirements gathering and stakeholder collaboration.

• Strong ETL development expertise.

• Advanced SQL development and performance-tuning skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Experience with the following:

• Azure Data Factory (ADF);

• Microsoft Azure data technologies;

• Microsoft Fabric;

• Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS);

• Cloud-based data integration and modernization;

• Data lake/lakehouse concepts and architectures.

• Technical leadership or team mentoring experience.

• Previous people management experience.
