Lead Data Engineer

Job Description:

The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's data architecture. They will lead a team of data engineers and work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is accurate, reliable, and accessible. The Lead Data Engineer will also be responsible for implementing data security measures and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the company's data architecture
• Lead a team of data engineers
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
• Develop and maintain data pipelines
• Optimize data storage and retrieval
• Identify and resolve data quality issues
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering
• Experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#,  etc.)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
