Job Description
Lead Data Modeler (Credit Modeling)Location: Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite per week)
Duration: Contract
Key Responsibilities- Lead data modeling initiatives for banking and credit-related domains.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Data Program, Lending & Credit Division, and Enterprise Data Modeling team.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Design and maintain logical and conceptual data models supporting credit and lending initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and compliance across data models.
- Coordinate project deliverables, timelines, and cross-functional communication.
- Support reporting and analytics teams with well-structured data models.
Required Skills & Experience- 10+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Management.
- Strong banking domain experience, with mandatory Credit/Lending data modeling experience.
- Experience leading data modeling initiatives and coordinating cross-functional delivery.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data modeling methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Power BI
- Databricks
- Enterprise Data Modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
