Role: Lead DBA (Oracle & SQL)
Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid)

Required Skills:
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration & Maintenance
- Manage installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades for SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and mainframe databases (e.g., DB2).
- Monitor database health, performance, and capacity; perform tuning and optimization as needed.
- Implement and manage backup/recovery processes and disaster recovery strategies.
- Security & Compliance
- Ensure database security through user role management, access controls, and encryption standards.
- Support compliance with internal security policies and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Development & Support
- Collaborate with application teams to support database development needs (e.g., stored procedures, triggers, indexing).
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for performance and operational issues.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Shell, Python).
- Data Migration & Integration
- Support data integration and ETL processes between heterogeneous databases.
- Lead or assist in database migrations (e.g., on-prem to cloud or between platforms).
- Mainframe DB Support
- Administer mainframe database systems like IBM DB2.
- coordinate with mainframe support teams for batch processing, job control, and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12-15+ years of experience as a DBA supporting multiple database platforms.
- Expertise in: Microsoft SQL Server (2016+), Oracle (12c/19c), MongoDB (sharded/replicated setups) and Mainframe DBMS (e.g., IBM DB2)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database scripting.
- Familiarity with database monitoring and alerting tools
- Experience with high availability and disaster recovery (e.g., AlwaysOn, Data Guard, replica sets).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
