Lead Dental Assistant

Schedule
- Monday: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM
- Every Other Friday: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Patients are our number one priority, and we always want to do what is best for them.
- Encourage efficient and office-focused use of time and discussions.
- Lead and participate in staff meetings with skills including facilitation, training, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the doctor and other team leaders on resolving conflicts that affect daily operations.
- Support of the overall goals and strategies, per the Annual Plan.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Engage and foster patients through a positive experience.
- Engage in the Spear Analytics Platform, Action Center, My Day, and Weekly/Monthly Reports to be accountable for the systems involved in the back-office experience.
- Supervise and monitor lab work, sterilization, x-ray protocols, chairside assisting, and new technology (Cerec, CBCT, etc.)
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Experience with inventory, ordering and managing a lab highly preferred
- Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Strong clinical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to creating an outstanding patient experience
- Passion for coaching and developing fellow team members
