--Responsibilities: The Lead Detailing Technician is responsible for overseeing a team of Detailing Technicians who will detail drawings from the engineering team to be sent to production for customer orders. The Lead Technician is responsible for assigning jobs to technicians on there team, as well as verifying projects hours for each job and ensuring that details are completed on time and within the hours quoted. This person will be very involved with their team, doing performance reviews, handling time cards, and involved with hiring and performance evaluations and decisions related to the team. This is a direct hire opportunity with a national company!
--Requirements:
--5+ years in structural steel detailing work
--Experience leading a team (project leadership or formal Lead/Management)
--Skill using AutoCAD and/or Tekla or other detailing software
