Job Summary and Qualifications
To collaborate as a Lead Clinical Nutrition member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide patients of all age groups and acuity levels with high quality Medical Nutrition Therapy following the Nutrition Care Process. Assistswith oversight and supervision of the Clinical Dietitians and MNT program. Assistswith interviewing hiring evaluations as well asparticipatingin coaching and the disciplinary process of all Clinical Nutrition team members. Performstimelynutrition screenings and assessmentsin accordance withthe Corporate Screening and Assessment Policy. Coordinates and implements MNT related performance improvement initiatives for the Food and Nutrition Services Department. Completes RD chart audits and AIDET audits and providestimelyfeedback to ensure clinical staff competency and to improve performance. Trains and mentorsnew staffandor dietetic interns to ensure consistent training of staff on policies and procedures. Responsible for Clinical Dietitian schedules and for monitoring employee attendance for timeliness and maintaining productivity standards.
What qualifications you will need
Bachelors degree in nutrition or Dietetics required Masters degree in nutrition or related field preferred

Registered Dietitian with Commission onDieteticRegistrationrequired Advanced certification RD-AP CSP CNSC CDE CSO or equivalentrequired Registered Food Service Manager Certificate within 1 year of hire Minimum of two years supervisorymanagement experiencerequired Minimum of two years of hospital clinical nutrition experiencerequired Obtains 75 CEUs within a 5-year period to meet CDR professional portfolio requirements Required Employment in this position is contingent upon continued registration and licensure as a dietitian Required
