Expected pay for this position is $18.27 - $20.29/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

: **2.25 3rd shift differential** Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Care, Lead Virtual Patient Safety Companion supports daily operations by assisting with workflow coordination, training, onboarding, and providing guidance to Digital Care Virtual Patient Safety Companions in alignment with department leadership. This role is responsible for assigning workloads, coordinating tasks, and serving as a communication point with facility leadership as needed. The Lead also performs the Digital Care Virtual Patient Safety Companion duties as required.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED

Experience:

  • 6 months of experience as a Safety Companion

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Proven efficiency in multitasking, with the ability to prioritize simultaneous situations.
  • Demonstrated excellent telephone etiquette, with the ability to communicate compassionately and professionally with patients, using microphone and headset.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Experience:

  • 1-year direct patient care experience such as a sitter, nursing assistant, nursing student, or monitor technician Demonstrated understanding and proficient in the use of the electronic medical records
