MixyPaws is in search of committed and enthusiastic Lead Dog Walkers to enrich our team. This position is part-time and offers a W-2 employment status along with a guaranteed schedule of 20 hours per week.
Your Qualifications:
- Proven experience in dog walking available Monday to Friday, between 10 am and 4 pm.
- A strong sense of reliability, punctuality, and exemplary communication skills.
- Capability to navigate diverse weather conditions and engage in extended walking hours.
- Knowledge of New York's neighborhoods.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and be at least 18 years old.
- Experience interfacing with clients and canine companions.
- Possession of a smartphone equipped with a data plan for effective communication and walk tracking..
Core Responsibilities:
- Travel to various service areas to manage dog walking routes or handle key duties.
- Ensure coverage during emergencies to guarantee all dogs enjoy their walks.
- Provide support to new staff by accompanying them on training and observation routes.
- Manage newly acquired client routes and disseminate marketing materials in strategic locations.
- Promptly respond to communication from staff and clients, maintaining effective dialogue.
- Support in documenting staff adherence to performance and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough audits of employee onboarding, key management, and client account details.

Position Details: Part-Time Role
Pay Structure: Offering $19.00 per hour with a guarantee of 25 working hours each week, totaling $475.00 weekly.
