A veterinary hospital is seeking a Lead Veterinarian / Medical Director (DVM) to join and guide its growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care, including diagnostics, treatment, and surgery
- Lead and mentor veterinarians and support staff
- Establish and uphold medical protocols, standards, and best practices
- Partner with hospital leadership on operational and strategic initiatives
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that encourages collaboration and learning
- Support client communication and ensure exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active veterinary license in good standing (or eligibility)
- Several years of clinical experience (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
