Lead Electrical EngineerÂ

Pay: $80,000- $100,000

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to design and oversee the power architecture for our tactical vehicle platforms. This role is responsible for developing reliable electrical systems that operate in extreme environments, supporting advanced communications, lighting, thermal imaging, and other mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on engineering experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and direct a team of Electrical and Mechatronic Engineers

• Lead the design of electrical schematics and power distribution systems for vehicle platforms

• Oversee selection of critical electrical components to ensure durability and performance

• Manage the full prototyping and testing lifecycle for new integrated systems

• Establish and enforce standards for wire harness design and routing

• Ensure compliance with engineering best practices and safety standards

• Collaborate cross-functionally with production and engineering teams

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience (5+ years in a relevant hands-on role)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar design software

• Strong understanding of 12V/24V DC electrical systems

• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or heavy equipment electrical design

• Proven leadership and team management experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail with a focus on safety and reliability

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
