We are seeking a versatile Lead Electrical Engineer who thrives at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and next‑gen intelligence. This role is designed for a self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who can balance the high‑stakes innovation of New Product Development (NPD) with the critical rigor of sustaining engineering. You will be instrumental in architecting embedded systems that leverage the latest technologies to bring real‑time intelligence to our hardware.Key ResponsibilitiesFull‑Lifecycle Design: Lead end‑to‑end design from initial concept and schematic capture to high‑density PCB layout and production launch.Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate DSP solutions into larger system architectures, ensuring seamless interoperability and debugging complex system‑level issues.Mixed Engineering Focus: Balance NPD (prototyping, validation, and innovation) with Sustaining Engineering (troubleshooting field issues, managing component obsolescence, and driving cost‑reduction initiatives).Agile Execution: Work within a cross‑functional Agile team, participating in sprints to rapidly iterate on prototypes and ship production‑ready features.QualificationsRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Experience: 5–10 years of experience in electrical/embedded systems, ideally in a fast‑paced or startup environment.Technical SkillsExpert‑level proficiency in EDA tools like Cadence OrCAD.Deep understanding of analog/digital circuit design, power management, and EMI/EMC compliance.Design and implementation of systems centered around MCUs, DSPs, or FPGAs.Soft SkillsEntrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to act as a "product owner" for your subsystems, making data‑backed decisions under ambiguity.Versatile: Ability to shift gears between high‑level architectural brainstorming and deep‑dive troubleshooting of production issues.Agile Proficiency: Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for managing tasks in an Agile environment.Compensation & BenefitsA reasonable estimate of the current range is: $120,000–$160,000/annually. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
