Lead Electrical Engineer - Tulsa, OK:
Direct Hire Role
 
Salary Range: $100,000-150,000 based one experience
 
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
 

The Lead Electrical Engineer will support multiple electric utility customers by developing plans, specifications, and engineering analyses for new construction, system improvements, and maintenance of existing electrical facilities. This role also oversees a team of engineers and engineering technicians.
An active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required for this position.
 
 
Key Responsibilities of the Lead Electrical Engineer - Tulsa, OK:
  • Conduct detailed engineering analyses across planning, maintenance, design, construction, and operations for electric cooperatives, municipalities, and investorowned utilities (IOUs).
  • Apply engineering principles and industry best practices to create costeffective, technically sound solutions.
  • Ensure projects meet applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements (RUS, Municipal).
  • Plan, prioritize, and lead engineering assignments and project activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including utility representatives, developers, and property owners regarding project design and compliance.
  • Serve as liaison across internal teams, departments, and external organizations.
  • Partner with engineering technicians to identify and implement qualitycontrol design changes.
  • Manage project schedules across varying project scopes and customer needs.
 
 
Qualifications of the Lead Electrical Engineer - Tulsa, OK:
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with a focus in power/high voltage.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of related experience in electrical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of utility equipment, materials, systems, and operational processes.
  • High proficiency with engineering software and general computer applications.
