POSITION OVERVIEW
As a
Lead, Electrical Engineering Hardware Design, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Design analog and digital ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications.
- Perform circuit tolerance analysis using hand calculations and SPICE tools.
- Develop, refine, and ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
- Generate test plans and test reports for product performance and qualification activities.
- Lead test activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Lead structured failure investigations using 8D, Fishbone, and Cause & Effect methodologies.
- Prepare and lead design reviews across all product development phases.
- Serve as the primary technical interface for internal and external customers.
- Provide technical inputs for RFPs, including material and labor estimates.
QUALIFICATIONS

Lead, Electrical Engineering Hardware Design who enjoys their work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal
Lead, Electrical Engineering Hardware Design would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 9+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, 7+ years with a graduate degree, or 13+ years of equivalent experience without a degree.
- 5+ years of analog circuit design experience involving differential amplifiers, op amps, LDOs, filters, and data converters.
- 5+ years of digital circuit design experience involving logic gates, flip-flops, timers, and filters.
- 4+ years of power conversion experience, including AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC, linear, and switching supplies.
- 5+ years of hands-on troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, function generators, meters, and similar lab equipment.
- 4+ years of schematic capture and/or PCB board layout experience using tools such as Altium or PADS.
- Experience designing electronics for extreme environments involving vibration, shock, temperature, and humidity.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
