Responsibilities include:Managing electrical maintenance and acceptance testing projects from inception to completion, including work orders, vendor management, and routine communication with field staff and clients.Managing field staff schedules, generating field files, securing necessary tools, ensuring safety requirements are met, and completing all field staff reports.Closing projects by addressing required repairs, additional scope, additional quotes, final report preparation, discussing future service contracts, and maintaining final client contact.Writing proposals while developing strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to promote business growth within the West Michigan market.Assisting in the recruitment and development of qualified Field Service Technicians.Performing other duties as needed to contribute to Team UIS success.Qualifications, Experience and Education To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:2-5+ years of NETA experience (preferred)Demonstrated electrical project management experienceAbility to read electrical drawings, including equipment protection and control schematicsStrong network connections with electrical contractors, utility companies, and large power usersProficiency with MS Office; AutoCAD proficiency is a plusAlignment with Team UIS's core valuesStrong aptitude for technical challenges and troubleshooting, with a hands-on approach when necessaryAbility to build strong relationships with clients, field staff, and vendorsExcellent communication, organizational skills, and a positive attitudeDemonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines effectivelyStrong work ethic and willingness to embrace new challengesAbout Team UIS We are field service leaders.
