The Lead Electrician plays a critical role in managing and executing electrical work for new construction projects in commercial buildings. This position involves leading small teams, ensuring code compliance, and delivering high-quality wiring installations from rough-in to trim-out stages.
Responsibilities
Perform rough-in wiring for new construction projects
Execute trim-out wiring tasks to complete installations
Ensure all work aligns with local electrical codes and standards
Read and interpret blueprints accurately
Lead small teams of 1-3 electricians, providing guidance and oversight
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical work
Valid Electrician License
Proficiency in electrical wiring and blueprint reading
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated team leadership capabilities
