Lead Electrician for Marine Company
Location: Dania Beach / Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Position Overview
A established marine electrical company is seeking an experienced Lead Marine Electrician to join their team in South Florida. This is a full-time position for a highly skilled professional who can independently troubleshoot complex electrical issues, oversee projects, and support installations across multiple job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot marine electrical systems and resolve technical issues efficiently
Lead and oversee electrical projects from start to completion
Manage multiple projects simultaneously throughout the South Florida area
Install, service, and maintain marine electrical systems
Work with solar power systems, lithium battery installations, and charging systems
Ensure all work is completed to ABYC standards
Coordinate with team members and clients
Occasional travel along the U.S. East Coast may be possible
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of marine electrical experience (10+ years preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential
Experience with solar systems and lithium battery installations
Hands-on experience with Victron products and systems
Current ABYC certification required
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass a background check
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Strong organizational and project management skills
Schedule
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
40 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits
$35–$45 per hour, depending on experience
