Job Summary: This role is responsible for leading the comprehensive testing and validation of advanced inertial measurement units and sensing technologies designed for demanding off-highway machinery. You will ensure the dependable performance of electronic systems by bridging the gap between design specifications and real-world application through structured, risk-based validation processes. Your expertise will be crucial in guaranteeing products meet stringent performance, quality, and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed validation plans based on requirements and risk assessments.
- Oversee and coordinate various testing phases, including simulation, lab, and field tests.
- Analyze test results to ensure accuracy and provide actionable technical insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align validation efforts.
- Contribute to product release decisions by evaluating validation outcomes.
Must-Have Skills:
- Expertise in electronic product development lifecycle.
- Proficient in reliability engineering principles and methods.
- Solid understanding of FMEA and risk-based validation techniques.
Experience with IMUs, MEMS sensors, or off-highway equipment is preferred for this role.
