Design, implement, and optimize software for custom network switches using high performance packet processors.
Develop and integrate L2 protocols such as VLAN, PTP, RDMA, Auto/Manual Port Speed, Packet Forwarding, Port Mirroring, Jumbo Frame Support and MACsec.
Implement L3/L4 protocols including Packet Forwarding, IGMP, ICMP, ARP, NAT, IPv4, and DHCP Server.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development for networking equipment.
Extensive experience in managing, developing, and implementing L2 and L3/L4 networking protocols.
Strong background in network security protocols.
Experience with Marvell packet processors and Prestera switch family preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and scripting languages like Python.
Deep understanding of network protocols and standards (IEEE, IETF).
Experience with embedded Linux development.
Familiarity with hardware interfaces, drivers, and JTAG.
Knowledge of network timing protocols like PTP (Precision Time Protocol) and synchronization techniques.
Experience with secure boot processes (CNSSP 15)
