Annual patient volume of 27,000
13-bed ED
EMR: Cerner
24 hours of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
12 to 24 hours of APC coverage
Position Requirements
Board-certified acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP or AGACNP) through ANCC or AACN, or board-certified pediatric primary care nurse practitioner (PPCNP) through ANCC
Prefer 2+ years in peds
Ability to lead and mentor a team of APCs
Current ACLS, and PALS certifications
Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date
