Job Purpose
The Infrastructure Solutions Architecture (ISA) group at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is a cross-disciplined team that takes a full stack view on solution development. This team participates in the definition of high-level functional and non-functional requirements, analyzes technical trade-offs, decomposes major components and subsystems, and helps define the interfaces, collaborations, and dependencies between them.
The role of an ISA Lead Engineer is responsible for accelerating innovation and fostering broader awareness and adoption of disruptive and differentiating technologies.
The ISA team has the expertise to shape ground-breaking business products, material, and processes across the entire portfolio at ICE. The architects lead technology investigations and recommend solutions based on what they learn and foster understanding of our capabilities. Our insights influence product architecture and definitions. In cooperation with leadership, the ISA team plays a critical role to align teams in a common technical direction at ICE. This team represents a key element of the ICE technology governance process and embodies our goals for maintaining a high degree of standardization and quality in everything we do.

Illinois Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role, if located in Illinois, is between $133,900 - $154,500 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
