We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to support and drive the expansion of our global Wi-Fi network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and securing the network infrastructure while ensuring seamless operations. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring expertise in Cisco technologies, security policy management, and cloud migrations.
Provide immediate support and address growth requirements for the global Wi-Fi network, including updates, security vulnerability mitigation, and SSID adjustments.
Support and manage Cisco Client (Identity Services Engine) for security policy enforcement.
Manage Data Center Infrastructure, including the migration of Fabric Path to a new data center core, configuration, and operational support.
Troubleshoot and optimize network performance across various platforms.
Support and maintain 802.1x network segmentation and security policies.
Assist with the migration of network services to cloud infrastructure.
Proactively address and resolve security vulnerabilities to maintain network integrity.
Extensive knowledge and experience in MAN/WAN technologies, including MPLS and SD-WAN.
Proficiency in configuring and operating Cisco Nexus switches.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9400 platform for network configuration and operation.
Strong understanding of Cisco vPC (Virtual Port-Channel) and its practical applications in data centers.
Expertise in network security, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure migration strategies.
A proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset.
Able to work independently and efficiently in an overnight shift setting.
Highly skilled in network troubleshooting and infrastructure management.
Adaptable to on-site work with occasional travel to the Baltimore campus.
