Who are we looking for?
GHD's US West Mining Team is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects across the full mining lifecycle. This role will manage multidisciplinary teams supporting mine permitting, infrastructure development, reclamation, closure, and post-closure projects for mining clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project delivery, client relationship management, business development support, financial performance, and leadership of technical teams. The role requires strong project management skills, a solid understanding of mining and regulatory environments, and experience coordinating engineering, environmental, geotechnical, water, and permitting disciplines.

Education: Bachelor''s degree in engineering (e.g., civil, environmental, geological, geotechnical, mining, etc.), science (e.g., geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, environmental science, etc.), or related technical discipline required
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in engineering (e.g., civil, environmental, geological, geotechnical, mining, etc.), science (e.g., geology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, environmental science, etc.), or related technical discipline required
Minimum 10+ years of consulting experience for mining clients related to one or more of the following:
Environmental or geotechnical site investigations
Mining-Influenced Water
Mine site hydrology, hydrogeology, and/or geochemistry
Mine Planning and Closure
Tailings Management/Design
Mining Engineering
Mining Exploration
Permitting and regulatory compliance experience for the mining industry (air, NEPA, NPDES, stormwater, etc.)
Water quality permitting (aquifer protection, direct discharge, stormwater)
Minimum 5+ years' experience managing environmental, infrastructure, reclamation and/or closure projects, preferably for the mining industry
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and contractual requirements.
Proven ability to lead client engagements and maintain strong relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel as required to client sites and project locations.
Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines
A self-starter with sound judgment and decisiveness
Experience and/or formal training with project management best practices a plus, but not required
Professional registration (PE, PG) a plus, but not required

Salary Range: $107,000-$178,000 based on experience and location
Benefits:
