    About the Role
    The Lead Family Time Visitation Facilitator is responsible for managing program administrative duties related to scheduling and staff support within Family Time Services while also directly working with families involved in the child welfare system. This role utilizes a trauma-informed approach to provide supervised visitation, parenting skills training, psychoeducation, and in-the-moment coaching to strengthen family bonds and promote safe reunification. The position also supports the Bridge program, designed to minimize disruption in family relationships after child removal, and serves as an advocate for families by coordinating with caseworkers, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
    Responsibilities
    · Manage program administrative duties including scheduling and staff support
    · Provide supervised family visitation services using a trauma-informed approach
    · Deliver parenting skills training and psychoeducation to families
    · Provide in-the-moment redirection and parent coaching during visits
    · Support and facilitate the Bridge program to maintain family connections
    · Advocate for families and collaborate with caseworkers to set and monitor goals
    · Document family progress and maintain accurate records
    · Report concerns of suspected abuse or neglect in accordance with regulations
    · Testify in court as required
    · Provide transportation for clients as needed
    · Monitor overall program operations and report to the Family Time Program Coordinator
    · Maintain organized schedules and ensure timely service delivery
    Required Qualifications
    · Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related)
    · Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and families, preferably in the child welfare system
    · Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
    · Current auto insurance
    · Access to a reliable vehicle for client transportation
    · Ability to maintain organization and work independently
    Preferred Qualifications
    · Experience working with children, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution
    · Knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
    · Experience using Excel spreadsheets
