Haus of Powell is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and driven Lead FF&E Designer to join our growing luxury residential design team.
This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about interiors, furnishings, styling, space planning, and creating elevated client experiences from concept through installation. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, can work independently, and has a strong eye for luxury residential design.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized, proactive, and able to bring creative ideas and solutions to the table while supporting the vision and growth of Haus of Powell.
Responsibilities
- Create luxury residential furniture layouts and space planning concepts
- Develop mood boards, finish palettes, and full FF&E presentations
- Source furnishings, lighting, textiles, accessories, rugs, artwork, and décor
- Assist with design concepts for custom homes and furnishing projects
- Prepare client presentations and visual design packages
- Coordinate pricing, procurement, and vendor communication
- Maintain organized selections, specifications, and design documentation
- Assist with installations, styling days, and final project detailing
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Designer and project teams
- Support social media and portfolio-ready design moments when needed
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactively identify design solutions and move projects forward independently
Qualifications
- 3+ years of interior design or FF&E experience preferred
- Strong understanding of luxury residential interiors
- Experience with furniture layouts, styling, and space planning
- Proficiency in Canva, SketchUp, AutoCAD, DesignFiles, or similar design software
- Strong sourcing and procurement experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Passion for luxury interiors, furnishings, and design trends
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team mentality
