Lead Field Service Technician — Foundation Drilling Equipment

Based in: Dayton, TX | Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Pay: To $50.00/hr DOE/Q

What you’ll tackle

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems on heavy construction equipment
  • Execute PMs, inspections, fluid services, and minor diesel engine repairs
  • Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics to solve problems efficiently
  • Keep precise service records and repair documentation
  • Travel within the assigned region to service equipment, complete repairs, and conduct operator training
  • Work safely and in full compliance with company and industry standards
  • Advise customers on operating techniques and maintenance best practices

Must-haves

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license; clean driving record
  • 7+ years repairing and maintaining heavy equipment
  • Expertise across hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Comfortable reading hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Hands-on with DVMs
  • Working knowledge of CANbus and PLCs
  • Bring your own essential tools
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examination

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years of heavy construction equipment experience
  • Welding experience
  • Advanced diesel diagnostics and repair
  • Independent shop and field service experience
  • Prior experience training or mentoring technicians
