 Pay Rate: $22 - $25 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week with the opportunity to work overtime.

Job Summary: 

 This role is responsible for managing flooring installation projects from start to finish, including site preparation, demolition, material coordination, and final installation. The position involves leading and supervising crews, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and delivering efficient, production-driven results. It also requires hands-on installation work with various flooring types, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in residential environments while interacting directly with clients. 

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Oversee flooring installation projects from initial site inspection and layout planning through final completion, ensuring full start-to-finish project management.
  • Perform demolition tasks, including removal of existing flooring materials and proper disposal of debris.

  •  Receive and verify flooring materials at delivery sites (such as Home Depot shipments), ensuring all orders are accurate and complete.

  •  Supervise and lead installation crews, including mentoring apprentices, delegating responsibilities, and maintaining productivity and quality standards.

  •  Prepare job sites by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and leveling subfloors using appropriate tools and leveling compounds.

  •  Measure, cut, and install various flooring types—including hardwood, tile, carpet, vinyl, and epoxy—according to specifications, blueprints, and industry best practices.

  •  Maintain an efficient, production-driven workflow that prioritizes speed without compromising quality craftsmanship.

  •  Ensure all job sites are safe, organized, and compliant with company policies and safety regulations.

  •  Communicate effectively with clients to review project scope, address concerns, and provide ongoing maintenance and care guidance.

Experience: 

  • A minimum of 5+ years of flooring installation experience preferred; extensive hands-on experience strongly valued. 

 

Other:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from demolition through final installation.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including team supervision, task delegation, and on-site problem-solving.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment while maintaining high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in math and measurements for accurate layouts, material estimates, and blueprint interpretation.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing frequent bending, kneeling, and standing

 

Work Environment: 

  • Primarily indoor residential settings
