Lead Food Service Worker needed for school food service program in the Edison, NJ area. Monday through Friday, day shift, no weekends or holidays. Summers off.
Comfortable in leading a kitchen team in a fast paced environment. Training staff as needed. Possible travel within the school district. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in NJ schools.
Requirements:
- Must have food service/ cooking experience. K-12 experience a plus.
- Follow recipes according to the NSLP guidelines.
- Observe that all safety and food handing procedures are followed at all times.
- Enforce the use of Personal Protective equipment at all times.
- Must have supervisory experience
- ServSafe® certified a plus
