Job Details

This role leads the design and delivery of full stack applications, owning both frontend and backend architecture while driving performance, scalability, and code quality. You will operate as a hands-on technical leader, guiding engineering efforts while contributing directly to development.

Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite) | Contract-to-hire (6 months)

Technical Leadership & System Ownership

· Lead end-to-end development across frontend and backend systems
· Architect scalable applications using React, NodeJS, and cloud services
· Design APIs supporting flexible, backward-compatible integrations
· Drive system performance, scalability, and production reliability
· Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis
· Guide engineering decisions across infrastructure and application layers

Engineering Execution & Technical Depth

· Build and maintain high-quality code using modern JavaScript frameworks
· Develop responsive UI components integrated with backend services
· Implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
· Work with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
· Leverage AWS services across application and infrastructure layers
· Maintain version control and workflows using Git/GitHub
· Enforce unit testing standards and functional test coverage
· Utilize modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn)
