Title: Senior Fullstack Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design and develop modern, schema-driven applications and distributed backend services. This role combines hands-on Angular/TypeScript and Java development with AWS cloud engineering, technical leadership, and AI-accelerated software development.
The ideal candidate is a highly autonomous engineer who can solve complex technical problems, contribute to architecture and modernization initiatives, mentor other engineers, and identify opportunities to automate repetitive development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Angular micro-frontends, REST APIs, Java/Spring Boot services, and AWS Lambda functions.
- Build complex, dynamic form applications using JSON Schema and schema-driven rendering and validation.
- Develop workflows supporting draft creation, amendments, submissions, and cross-system validation.
- Design and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and distributed microservices.
- Contribute to application architecture, modernization strategy, and resolution of technical risks and dependencies.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across UI, backend, validation, and cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship while improving code quality, testing, performance, and engineering standards.
- Simplify applications and infrastructure to reduce long-term maintenance and migration costs.
- Partner effectively with engineering, product, and business stakeholders across multiple teams.
AI-Accelerated Engineering
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Kiro, or comparable platforms for coding, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and development workflows.
- Create reusable AI-enabled automation, including agent workflows, prompt libraries, code-generation utilities, testing tools, review assistants, and developer productivity solutions.
- Identify repetitive engineering processes and develop automation that measurably improves development speed and efficiency.
- Design reliable and testable agentic workflows using tool calling, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and multi-step orchestration patterns.
- Maintain strong security, testing, and code-quality standards when using AI-generated outputs.
Technical Qualifications
Frontend
- Angular and TypeScript, preferably with recent Angular versions
- RxJS and reactive application patterns
- JSON Schema and schema-driven UI development
- Angular Formly or similar dynamic form frameworks
- Micro-frontend architecture
- Complex and conditional form development
- Playwright and unit-testing frameworks such as Jasmine
- SCSS, responsive design, and accessibility standards
Backend
- Java and Spring Boot
- RESTful API and microservices development
- Distributed system design
- Business rules and validation engines; SpEL or similar technologies preferred
AWS & DevOps
- AWS services including S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway
- Cloud monitoring and troubleshooting using services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray
- Infrastructure as Code
- CI/CD pipelines
- Git-based development, branching, pull requests, and release management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong production experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Strong object-oriented Java development experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems and RESTful services.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience.
- Demonstrated production use of AI-assisted software development tools.
- Experience creating AI-enabled automation or reusable development workflows that improve engineering productivity.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, application architecture, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to independently solve broad and ambiguous technical problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- JSON Schema, schema-driven development, or dynamic form rendering experience.
- Angular Formly or comparable frameworks.
- Production-scale micro-frontend architecture.
- SpEL or other expression/rules engines.
- MCP, agentic AI, or AI orchestration experience.
- Application performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with highly regulated, financial services, compliance, or other complex enterprise environments.
- AWS or AI-related certifications.
