Job Summary

Our client is seeking a senior hands-on Lead GenAI Engineer to design and build a stateful, headless GenAI application that supports grounded, personalized content creation for commercial marketing teams. This role will own key architecture decisions, establish coding patterns, and build critical production components across agent orchestration, structured outputs, enterprise integrations, and observability.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build a stateful, multi-turn, multi-agent GenAI application.
• Design API-first, headless services that produce structured JSON/HTML outputs for downstream platforms.
• Integrate GenAI workflows with enterprise platforms, data services, content repositories, and marketing/content systems.
• Implement RAG, grounding, memory, evaluations, observability, streaming interactions, clarification flows, and error handling.
• Provide technical leadership, code review, architecture direction, and hands-on production development.

Required Skills

• Production GenAI application architecture and engineering experience.
• Strong Python or TypeScript, microservices, API design, and structured contract experience.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration, RAG, memory, grounding, evaluations, and observability.
• Strong AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore experience.
• Ability to operate as a senior technical lead while still writing production code.

Preferred Skills

• Content generation, personalization, content-as-code, or MarTech experience.
• Experience with enterprise content systems such as Workfront, Veeva Vault PromoMats, AEM Assets, or similar.
• Regulated content or commercial pharma experience.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Preference for Bay Area based candidates, with ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week.
• Remote candidates must provide 4 6 hours of daily Pacific Time overlap.
• The team's preference is for candidates to be based on the West Coast, ideally in San Francisco. Remote candidates will also be considered, provided they can work Pacific Time hours.
