The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for building top-of-funnel sales pipeline by identifying, researching, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers. This position generates new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and timely follow-up on marketing-generated leads, and books qualified meetings for the Business Development team to advance and close.

The Lead Generation Specialist partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure consistent messaging, high-quality lead qualification, and a seamless handoff of opportunities to Business Development Managers.
This role offers the flexibility of hybrid work; however, occasional travel may be required to fulfil the requirements of the position. This position reports directly to the Company’s Executive SVP, Sales, with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (local time). Please note that flexibility to work outside of typical business hours may be required to meet business needs. The Lead Generation Specialist position is classified as non-exempt.

Responsibilities:
Generate and qualify new business opportunities that build a pipeline aligned to growth and revenue targets in specific markets and industries;
 Research and identify prospective customers within target industries, including retail, logistics, utilities, and commercial property
 Execute outbound prospecting campaigns through phone, email, social, and other channels to engage decision-makers
 Qualify inbound and outbound leads against established criteria (fit, need, budget, timing)
 Book discovery meetings and product demonstrations for Business Development Managers
 Achieve monthly targets for outreach activity, qualified leads, and booked meetings
 Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all contacts, activities, and lead status in the CRM
 Prepare lead generation reports and present, as required, with an analysis of results and recommendations on issues, actions, and initiatives
 Participate proactively in sales strategy, planning and review discussions

Work closely with management to develop prospecting strategies and tactical plans to deliver the business objectives;
 Provide management with “bottoms-up” input to lead and pipeline targets at account, industry, and product level
 Develop and implement outreach cadences and prospecting plans aligned to the regional business plan
 Develop a network of contacts to understand current and emerging market needs and trends
 Monitor competitors’ activity and report promptly on threats, risks, and opportunities

Work closely with the Marketing function to convert campaigns and inbound interest into qualified pipeline;
 Follow up promptly on marketing-generated leads from campaigns, website inquiries, events, and trade shows
 Provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and campaign performance
 Utilize product and business development training to maximize understanding of products, features, and value propositions
 Provide Marketing with territory and prospect knowledge and analysis to sharpen campaign targeting
 Support advertising and promotions campaigns, social media and website content, events, and trade shows with pre- and post-event outreach

Work closely with the Business Development team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities;
 Engage with Business Development Managers to ensure qualified opportunities are transitioned with complete and accurate context, and expectations are communicated and issues clarified

Requirements:
 Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
 At least one (1) to three (3) years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or inside sales, preferably in B2B technology, security, or services
 Knowledge of, or strong interest in, the US Security market for remote video monitoring, analytic software, and detection systems
 Demonstrated on-target achievement against activity, qualified lead, and booked meeting goals
 Excellent prospecting skills: research, planning, analyzing, reasoning, problem-solving and influencing
 Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a confident and professional phone presence
 Proficiency with CRM platforms and prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, contact databases, sales engagement platforms)
 Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with prospects and internal partners
 Demonstrated results orientation
 Engaged and engaging personal style, listens and responds appropriately to issues, able to influence prospects and secure commitments
 Energetic and motivated, able to meet deadlines
 Demonstrated resilience in responding to setbacks and overcoming barriers
 Interest in and understanding of security and analytics technology
 Ability to travel occasionally to meet the requirements of the position and as required by the business

Requirements for working remotely:
 Must have a reliable, high-speed, and secure internet connection
 Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with teammates and customers using tools such as email, chat, and video conferencing
 Must demonstrate strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently
 Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment, including giving and receiving feedback and working through problems as a team
 Comfortable with adapting to change, learning new tools and technologies, and managing the potential challenges of remote work, including limited in-person interaction
 Must be available during core business hours and responsive to communications via email, chat, or video during those times
