The Lead Generator is a key contributor to the sales organization, responsible for expanding market awareness and increasing market share through strategic prospecting, targeted outreach, and industry networking initiatives. This role drives business growth by managing and executing structured prospecting activities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Success requires strong sales acumen, effective project management skills, and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously. The Lead Generator maintains a comprehensive understanding of the organization's policies, products, and services to effectively communicate value propositions, identify qualified opportunities, and support the advancement of the sales pipeline.
Duties & Responsibilities ------------------------
• Proactively identify and pursue prospective customers through targeted research, outbound calling, structured follow-up, and strategic marketing campaigns. • Develop new relationships and re-engage dormant accounts to increase awareness of RICO's solutions, capabilities, and value proposition while identifying qualified business opportunities. • Leverage CRM tools and outbound prospecting efforts to engage dealers, establish or strengthen relationships, and effectively communicate RICO's products and technical capabilities. • Conduct ongoing market and contact research to uncover new prospects, validate contact information, and maintain accurate and current database records. • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, assess opportunity potential, and coordinate next steps by assigning follow-up activities to the sales team for meetings, technical discussions, and quotation development. • Collaborate closely with the sales Coordinator to align outreach efforts, support campaign execution, and ensure timely follow-up on identified opportunities. • Execute targeted marketing initiatives and focused outreach campaigns ("blitzes") to generate leads and develop market intelligence within designated industries or territories. • Achieve established weekly and monthly outreach and contact metrics while accurately recording inbound marketing leads and prospecting activities in Salesforce. • Support sales pipeline development initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand market penetration. • Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all prospecting and sales activities within Salesforce to effectively manage leads and track progression through the sales cycle. • Adhere to established processes and documentation standards to support order management and customer communications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Position Details ----------------
Position is based on the RICO campus; limited travel may be required. This role does not include supervisory responsibilities. NOTE: Other tasks or goals may be assigned - either on a temporary or permanent basis - as deemed necessary by company officials. Education & Training -------------------
• High School Degree or equivalent • Minimum 2 years' professional experience required working in a business-to-business sales or customer service environment.
Knowledge & Experience ---------------------
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate skill level required including Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Intermediate advanced knowledge of CRM software, ideally Salesforce. • Proven ability to manage internal and external client expectations is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications ----------------------
• Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (Syteline) experience • Industrial experience in customer service or sales function preferred. • Experience with Salesforce or other comparable research or data mining programs
