Job Summary:

Join our team as Lead GME Administrator and play a central role in supporting and coordinating day-to-day operations our Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. In this role, you will lead a team of 10 GME Administrators, guiding work across key functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and compliance for incoming and current residents. You will ensure the program consistently meets regulatory and accreditation requirements, maintain accurate and timely program documentation, and serve as a primary hub for communication among residents, departments, attending faculty, institutional leadership, and external partners. You will work Monday-Friday, standard daytime business hours and you will enjoy a remote hybrid model, working 2-3 days a week on site at our office in Vanderbilt Medical Center North located at 1211 21st. Ave. N. in Nashville, TN.

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:

For almost 100 years, the mission of Vanderbilt University Medical Center's Section of Surgical Sciences has been to provide the finest quality care to patients, solve surgical problems that change practice, and educate the next generation of health care providers.

• Develops program plans, goals and objectives in collaboration with program and area leadership.
• Provides professional and/or technical leadership in the execution of day-to-day program activities.
