Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
  • Experience with product management within the advertising, e-commerce, or travel industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • Passion for building products for businesses, shaping ecosystems, and helping small and large companies grow.

The team's mission is to accelerate vertical journeys with great ads that drive exceptional industry value and power Google’s growth. Vertical user journeys represent a large percentage of search usage. Projects in Travel and Vehicles have proven that vertical-focused approaches create compelling experiences that delight users and advertisers. Together with Search partner teams, Google is making major bets in many verticals, providing users with rich relevant results and real-time info about offers, pricing, and availability.

Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $240,000-$334,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Product Managers building new vertical advertising products tailored to the unique needs and opportunities of Google's top commercial verticals.
  • Define the outlook, strategy, and product roadmap to improve the advertiser experience and create compelling new value propositions.
  • Launch new products and features, drive scaled adoption, and iterate quickly based on vertical ecosystem markets and advertiser requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Business Development, Sales, Legal, UX, and advertising partners on complex large-scale projects and technologies.
  • Represent the product and business to internal and external stakeholders including executive leaders and at industry events.
