Description

Kforce's client in Andoveer, MA is seeking a hands-on Lead Hardware Design Engineer to join a highly technical engineering team where you'll have end-to-end ownership of complex hardware designs and see your work deployed in real-world systems. In this role, you'll remain deeply hands-on while providing technical leadership across advanced high-speed digital hardware and FPGA-based systems. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture, design, development, and verification of complex digital hardware systems from concept through production
  • Design high-speed embedded electronics featuring FPGAs, secure processing, networking, storage, and ruggedized computing solutions
  • Drive system-level design decisions, technical tradeoffs, and risk management for complex engineering programs
  • Establish engineering best practices, design standards, and process improvements across the organization
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience designing complex embedded digital hardware from concept through production
  • Strong expertise in high-speed digital design, modern memory technologies, and high-performance interconnects
  • Knowledge of signal integrity analysis and high-speed PCB design
  • Strong mentorships skills and ability to lead technically complex hardware development programs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
