Lead HVAC Installer

About the Role

Abel Heating and Cooling is an established residential and light commercial HVAC company West of the twin cities. We are currently looking for a skilled Installer who takes pride in their work. You'll install HVAC systems while representing Abel. We also offer competitive pay and bonus opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, and related equipment humidifiers etc.
• Work from job documentation and ensure every install meets manufacturer specs and local code
• We do mostly retrofits and with very little new construction jobs.
• Take photos and document your work clearly
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and the office if needed.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on HVAC experience
• Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerant handling, and basic electrical/low voltage wiring
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• EPA 608 certification preferred
• Ability to work independently or with a helper, manage your time, and take ownership of your work

What We Offer

Pay ranges from $35–$55/hr depending on experience, with commission opportunities on top of that. You'll have a company truck and fuel card so you're never out of pocket getting to jobs.
