About the Role
As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will manage residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish. This includes overseeing job sites, leading installation crews, ensuring projects are completed on time and up to code, maintaining quality control, and providing exceptional customer experiences. You will serve as both a technical expert and field leader, helping train apprentices and junior installers while ensuring Spectrum AC's standards of excellence are upheld on every project.
What You'll Do
Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installations, including split systems, package units, rooftop units, and system replacements. Supervise and mentor installation crews, interpret blueprints and technical specifications, maintain code compliance, coordinate with internal teams and customers, troubleshoot installation challenges, and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
What We're Looking For
Candidates should have at least 3 years of HVAC installation experience with demonstrated leadership ability, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to manage projects and teams effectively. EPA Universal certification is required, with NATE certification preferred. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, customer-focused, and capable of developing others while maintaining high production and quality standards. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
