West Sound Workforce is assisting a locally owned HVAC contractor in Kitsap County with the recruitment of a Lead HVAC Installer. With more than 30 years of serving homeowners and businesses throughout the region, this well-established company has built its reputation on dependable service, quality workmanship, and lasting customer relationships. As the company continues to grow, they're seeking an experienced installer who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship, leading by example, and ensuring every installation is completed to the highest standards.

Reporting to the Installation Manager, the Lead HVAC Installer oversees residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish, leading installation crews while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on every job. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise with mentorship, supporting apprentice development while delivering an outstanding customer experience and installations that reflect the company's commitment to excellence.

Shift information:
  • Monday – Friday 7am – 4:30 pm
  • On-call rotation and overtime as needed
What you will do:
  • Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductless mini-splits, indoor air quality (IAQ) products, and related HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable codes
  • Perform refrigerant piping, gas piping, venting, equipment startup, commissioning, and system testing to verify proper operation and performance
  • Maintain organized, professional jobsites while completing accurate digital documentation and delivering exceptional customer service throughout each installation
  • Mentor apprentice and junior installers by providing hands-on training, promoting safe work practices, and fostering a culture of craftsmanship and continuous improvement
What we are looking for:
  • Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience with the ability to independently complete residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish
  • EPA Universal Certification and a valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Demonstrated expertise installing heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, ductless mini-splits, variable-speed equipment, indoor air quality (IAQ) products, Wi-Fi thermostats, and related HVAC systems, with the ability to perform electrical troubleshooting as needed
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a commitment to quality workmanship, jobsite safety, and delivering an exceptional customer experience
