Lead HVAC Technician

About the Hiring Company:

Our Client, provides top-tier HVAC services to both residential and commercial clients. They are currently seeking an experience, professional and safety-minded Lead HVAC Technician to join their team.

As a Lead HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. You will also lead a team of technicians, provide mentorship, and ensure all projects are completed on time and in compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in HVAC preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostics
  • EPA Certification (Section 608) required
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight for out-of-town projects
  • Valid driver’s license (MVR reviewed per company insurance policy standards)
  • Drug testing required

General Responsibilities:

·Lead, train, and supervise HVAC technicians in the field

·Perform complex HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial clients

·Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues and provide solutions in a timely and effective manner

·Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and addressing their needs

·Ensure that all work complies with local codes and regulations

·Order and manage inventory of necessary parts and equipment

·Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems

·Complete service reports, job documentation, and time tracking accurately

·Assist in setting schedules and dispatching technicians for assignments

·Maintain a clean and organized work environment

·Provide on-call support during after-hours as needed
